Learning Forum - Practical Sessions – Local Finance, Participation and Inclusive Governance

The thematic session on local finance will be designed using the peer review methodology. The main objective is to share experiences and knowledge on financial management and citizens’ participation. The session will be the opportunity to confront diverse visions of participatory budgeting, form countries with diverse contexts of decentralization and various degrees of inclusion of the population. There will be two tables to discuss different case studies. One table will be exchanging on the experience of Sfax in french. The second will be the case of La Paz. At the end of the session, questions will be raised to help the cities to find practical solutions to their problems.
