Description
Professors and students are even and mutual learning among specialists and amateurs takes place when people meet in squares. At the same time, in the age of ubiquitous connectity, smartphones and proactive citizenship, any corner of a city can become a learning and exchange space.
The learning city, according to the definition of the urban planner Domenico di Siena, implies “shifting from models based on efficient goods and services production that oblige us to constantly move (and consume) to models based on information management and knowledge production (self-organization). The “right to the city of learning” relies on the free access to and free movement of knowledge and culture.
