[Compact of Mayors, Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy]

The moderated discussion will introduce the new Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy to an audience of mayors and city officials, many of which are already part of either the Compact of Mayors or the European Commission’s Covenant of Mayors. Pulling on first person testimonials from participating mayors of Compact and Covenant cities, the session will go through the various stages of the Compact and GCM and discuss what the goals and mission will be once the merged effort goes live on January 1, 2017.
