Marie-Eve Buist is coordinator at the Legal Research Chair in Food Diversity and Security (DDSA). She is titular of a master degree in international development of the Institut québécois des Hautes études internationales at Laval University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal.
During her studies, she focused on the contribution of national and international law in order to improve food security in India and especially on smallholder farmers.
Her areas of interest concern the law as a tool for the differenciation of local food products to insure food diversity and security.
